LanOC Reviews is a website specifically for gaming, gaming hardware and LanPartys. We started by hosting lan partys and moved into reviews in March of 2008. We are fairly new to the review scene, but are able to give an opinion from a gamers point of view because we are gamers! All of our reviewers have been well versed in their specific areas of interest due to an unnatural need to play video games and tweak hardware. We want to help you find the best performing products along with the best games to soak up all of your time. We are a group of down to earth geeks who spend all of our time tweaking our PCs and playing console and PC games. We also host our LAN parties in the Northwest Ohio area four or more times a year. You can learn more about us by visiting our forums where you are welcome to ask questions and chat up new and old games and hardware.

Our Awards

Our Old Awards

Gold is for any game or product that gets a 10/10. These are products that we highly recommend. They are products that we wouldn't hesitate to spend our hard earned money on, which in fact a lot of times we did. The game or product has proven to be a quality product that performs well and is priced reasonably for the performance/gameplay.

Silver is given to any item that gets a 8/10 or a 9/10. These are products or games that are very good but have something small that is keeping it from being perfect. These are still amazing games/products and you shouldn't hesitate to consider anything with a silver ribbon.

A bronze ribbon is given to anything with a 6/10 or 7/10. These are products or games that are average or have a flaw that is holding it back. Generally this can be something that only bothers some people, or you can live with. With all of ribbons we don't put them on anything that we don't think people will like. We make sure to include the reason we gave the game/item their score. Most of the time the only thing keeping a game/item from getting a gold is a small nitpick. We recommend checking out anything with a LanOC ribbon.
