Okay guys, this is in NO WAY an official tournament listing. I am just bouncing ideas around for tournaments.

Would you guys be more interested in a new or old game for our FPS tournament? They are both popular games but the older game would have full lan support and the odds of a lot of people having it would be a lot higher than with the new game.

We tried to play poker at our first 5 to 6 events and it never got traction. I know Cory had a good time playing at Nexus, I was curious if this is something we should consider again.

I don't know about you guys but I'm already getting excited about the LAN. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and meeting new friends. I was hoping I could ask you guys to help spread the word on facebook and any other forums you are involved with. The only way to get new people into the event is to let them know about it. With almost 120 seats this time around its going to be a blast! Not to mention we are going balls to the wall with it being our 10th event!

Hello kind community of LAN OC,
My in-laws currently have a Chinese foreign exchange student (Edward) who will be joining Nick_Wic & I at the next lan. Problem is he has a Macbook Pro, which doesn't seem to have the video card/PC Type needed to play most of the games we'll be enjoying at the LAN.
Would anyone have a PC they'd let him borrow for the event? I can bring a monitor, keyboard and mouse, just need a decent tower for him to use...
I'd be willing to buy you lunch or something for the trouble of you hauling it to the LAN. He's a pretty cool kid and I'd like for him to have a good time at the LAN. I'll have him bring his MAC to the LAN also in case we get playing something that costs money, but with several games free on STEAM or LoL, I'm sure he'll be able to participate some in the gaming. I think he's mainly coming for the cultural experience.

I'd appreciate anything you could offer (that's not going to Lag too bad) to help.

I actually have AT&T Uverse. I actually love the quality of the service. But here is my problem; I have Uverse TV top 300 with HD, Showtime; then I have great speed with internet; and (2) Samsung Galaxy S phones. That bill get really expensive.

I already watch 95% of my programs a couple days to a week later on my DVR Except for News and Sports and that is the kicker for me.

I <3 my sports and I have found where to watch some NFL games when it is blacked out in my area, but the quality is far from HD. I also like to watch Sportscenter, Around the Horn, Pardon the Interuption and is there anywhere to really watch that online?

Also what is the better ways to watch Netflix and Hulu Plus on your TV's? I have the mack daddy XBOX 360 I could use in the Living Room. Wii I could use in my daughters room. Laptop I could use in my bedroom. My computer in the computer room. Also can you use 1 account on multiple TV's? At the same time?

I basically need HD in my living room atleast.
