This is the official list of games that got the most demand via our forums. These titles are going to get the most attention, so if you're thinking about picking up some for the LAN, now is the time. Please have them installed and updated before the LAN. Remember: This list is not intended to restrict any gameplay; if you have a title you want to play, by all means you're welcome to get a game going. This list is meant to help for planning and preparation.

Please note: Many of the titles we play are available exclusively or at discounted prices through the digital distribution program Steam. Steam is a multiple function platform allowing you to purchase titles digitally, see what friends are playing (and join/invite them), create profiles and groups, and even earn achievements. Steam also utilizes an instant messaging feature that we often take advantage of during the LAN. If you do not yet have Steam, we recommend installing it before the LAN, and picking up the free to download games they offer, Alien Swarm and Trackmania Nations Forever.

Steam is not the only digital distribution program available, however. As you will see, a few other companies have their own service you must install in order to obtain a digital copy and/or play the game itself, such as Blizzard's BattleNet (used for StarCraft 2). Follow the link of any image to find more on how to obtain a copy.

There may also be methods of obtaining a copy of a game you don't have at the LAN. Contact a staff member if you are curious about obtaining a game.
